But after the stars pale,

Betty Vos lives with her husband, Robert Coates, in Mason City, Iowa, where she teaches at Hamilton College. She has followed a long career in academia and social work with a foray into creative writing that includes not only the present volume of poetry, but fiction co-authored with her husband under the pen name Amanda Burns.
